Those are nice Clarice, I think I'll set up a gallery thing with some of my stuff also since i don't see a way to post the pictures in the posts.

Im new in this group but i have like 5 years in the graphic design area and almost 2 years in PS, im seting up a galley, u can upload ur images, avatars, wallpapers..... etc. ill upload some of my work 2 its not open yet but u still can upload ur work 4 the opening

Great idea, better than using this site to show what you made, it doesn't like you make specific galleries unless I missed something.

I'm not that good at photoshop either. I'm a new user of the software and also new to the hi5 community.
I guess the only way to see everyone elses work is to post it in your own personal gallery. I'm not sure what you mean by blends, however, I've learned how to do a few things like backgrounds, digital photo manipulation, making brushes, etc.
It would be nice if the person in charge of this group could set up a "GALLERY" on this site. I dont know if that would work out, but it's worth a try.

im no pro either, i just like fiddling with toolz n stuff!
its cuz everything u do no matter how messed up it is...it alwayz turns out great in PS XD
i guess therz no better way than 4 every1 2 post their work on their own galleries n we'll just browse through em >>;
anyhoo we could post links 2 kewl PS gallaries or groups
PS tutorials would b great too (say 'bout blendin n selectin?!)

I think that the quick mask is the best way for make a perfect selection .

Lasso tool is the best way to select I guess, ofcourse it depends on the complexity. You can simply use marque tool to select, if the selection is less complex.

hum in the image ready that comes with PS CS, when you save the document you have an option to shrink it, the 6.0 i dont remember:/ try to put more small images, that may fix the problem cause 500k is a lot for a gif.

I have adobe image ready 3.0 (my photoshop is 6.0) and an animated gif, what i want to do is shrink it down to 500k so that i can use it on this site.
Does anyone even know that this site even allows animated gifs?

umm the way to do it would be make each individual frame lower in quality cause the higher the quality the higher the kb and maybe take unneeded frames out
and yes animated gifs are allowed n the site its just that most of them are only like 7 frames anyways lol
