Later in thearly sixties he hab returned to the production of aircraft as the German Air Force had introduced the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter and had taken over the Aircraft firms Bölkow and Blohm so that the firm has the name Misserschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm.
In the seventies the conzern had taken part at the Production of the Tornado and some components for the Airbus Company.
Today the Messerschmitt conzern is a doughter Business of the European Air Defence and Space Company (EADS)who takes part at the production of the Airbus A380 und the Eurofighter Typhoon (for example).
