I think not even Suede themselves know what they have done to the music scene in the UK since they have arrived. With their scintillating debut album "Suede" (which won the Mercury Music Prize), Brett has become a cult figure to many. With such a powerful first album, fans expected a lot of their follow-up album and Suede did that almost arrogantly. With "Dog Man Star" praised by critics as Suede's "Sgt Pepper's" phase, they have produced one of the best albums ever made. But when Bernard Butler (guitarist and co-songwriter) left the band, the group suffered a setback, only for them to make one of the biggest comebacks in music history. Recruiting talented guitarist Richard Oakes, Brett Anderson has found a new songwriting partner. Newest member keyboardist Neil Codling added a new dimension to Suede's music and also contributes his songwriting ability to the group. The now 5 member-group looks better than ever, and while Bernard will be missed, Suede fans can look forward to the already new found partnership of Anderson/Oakes songs. Suede looks good to carry on from here, Ladies & Gentlemen....Coming Up: SUEDE
