Topic: Will the Islamic Allah reward Christians?
Will Allah reward the good deeds of Unbelievers?

S. 9:17 and 9:69 clearly say no.

However, S. 99:7 implies yes.

Moreover, S. 2:62 promises Christians reward for their good deeds.

But S. 9:28-33; 5:17, 72-73 calls Christians idolaters, and S. 9:17 is very clear that idolaters will have no reward

The stipulation for what kind of a Christian will be granted a place in heaven is already in Quran read 2:62. Allah clearly says that the Christians who stop calling Jesus, one of the 'Trinity' form of God will be granted heaven. I know the site from where you copy pasted it from:) By the way not all Christians believe in trinity you know.

2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (ures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

It does not say that we as Christians must deny Jesus as God.....It stipulates that we are only to believe in God, in the Judgment and in good works (which we do).....As we also follow Jewish ures (which Muslims do not), it is even more absolute in its declaration.

The Creater of the Heavens and the Earths, Allah says in the Quran on account of your statment :

''It does not say that we as Christians must deny Jesus as God''

--------
“They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! At if the skies are ready to burst the earth to split asunder and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin. That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant.”
Chapter 19, Verses 88-93

“And behold! Allah will say "O Jesus the son of Mary! didst thou say unto men `worship me and my mother as gods in derogation of Allah"? He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing Thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart though I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden. "Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say to wit `Worship Allah my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up thou wast the Watcher over them and Thou art a Witness to all things.” Chapter 5, Verses 116-117

“This similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam: He created him from dust then said to him: "Be" and he was.”
Chapter 3, Verse 59

Will Allah reward Christians?

If for instance, someone was studying a course and had to progress through multiple stages to attain a goal. this person only goes half way or just say only applies on to the course without accepting the course specification.

do you think it would be possible for this person to not even use there brand new pen and achieve the Goal.?

would it be right for that person to even automatically recieve the qualification ?

Likewise, the message and belief of Islam is to believe in ALL the messengers of Allah, and worship Allah alone.

to reject one messenger and more importantly the last final messenger for mankind, and deny the truth whilst knowing the progression of the prophethood, is ........

You have to believe in all the messengers of Allah, the christians and disciples who followed jesus by worshiping only Allah in the past, will have a reward with ALLAH. just as Jewish people who forcifully denied Isa will have no reward, likewise people who den,ied Muhammad, the final messenger for mankind will have no reward, in the Quran, Allah says is :

1. Those who disbelieve [in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of Prophet Muhammad ], and hinder (men) from the Path of Allâh (Islâmic Monotheism), He will render their deeds vain .

2. But those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and believe in that which is sent down to Muhammad (), for it is the truth from their Lord, He will expiate from them their sins, and will make good their state.

Darlene,
Yes verse 2:62 does say that Christians will be rewarded but to understand the Quran yo must collect every verse in the quran about Christians to be able to fully understand Allah's stance and that is: Christians who believe in God The wil be rewarded. Anyone who believs in the Trinity will not. This is very clear in the Quran..
I dont remember having read in the Quran that denying Muhammad is Helbound otherwise there will be no use for verse 2:62 Accepting the Quran is accepting Muhammad ASW as a messenger and this is VERY crutial but Allah has mentioned that it is not the SINGLE POINT that altimatly will decide whether one goes to hell or to heaven. If you notice Azzizur translation of (47:1-) there are alot of brackets which indicates that one is trying to put words in Allahs mouth!!!

azizur, I know that to reject a messenger of God spoke about in the Torah and the Gospels is rejecting them ALL.

I also know that rejecting Mohamad is not rejecting the messengers of God in the Torah and the Gospels.

Figure that one out.

Yunis, you said:

Christians who believe in God The wil be rewarded. Anyone who believs in the Trinity will not. This is very clear in the Quran..

Sorry, but that is EXACTLY what I am trying to say....The Quran is inconsistent.

In other words:
I as a Christian believe in God so I will be rewarded.
I as a Christian believe in a triune God so I won't be rewarded.
I as a Christian must embrace the belief of Islam to be rewarded

Hello

Therefore if I embraced Islamic beliefs, then I wouldn't be a Christian, so Christians who believe in God according to Islam will not be rewarded.

Except it does say that:

2:62 Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (ures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Ermmmmm, right...

Darlene,
Allah understands and knows that there are Christians who dont believe in teh trinity. They believe that Jesus is the Messiah but not the "Begotten Son"
U say "
"-I as a Christian believe in God so I will be rewarded.
-I as a Christian believe in a triune God so I won't be
rewarded."
Simply, u as a Christian who believe in God you will be rewarded but u a a Christian who THINKS that you believe in God by accepting the "Triune" Allahs seemd it that you dont believe in Him in the fisrt place.

" Therefore if I embraced Islamic beliefs, then I wouldn't be a Christian, so Christians who believe in God according to Islam will not be rewarded." --U had me (buffled) at "therefore"!!!! :)
Verse 2:62 "...any who believes in ALLAH and the..."
PLEASE SEE THE DEFFINITION OF "ALLAH" IN CHAPTER-114

Yunis, somewhere we are not getting our message across to each other.

Christianity is built TOTALLY on the premise that Jesus Christ who was perfect and innocent paid the price for the broken covenant of Adam and Eve and the continual sinfulness from that time from generation to generation.

To remove what Jesus did for us completely eliminates Christianity just as removing Mohamad completely eliminates Islam.

There can never be a Christian who does not believe in the Trinity although there CAN be people who call themselves Christians but absolutely not.

I THINK that I believe in God?.....No, Yunis, I know that I believe in God......It would be nice if you believed me but it is not necessary...

Chapter 114
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
114:1 Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men,
114:2 The King of men,
114:3 The God of men,
114:4 From the evil of the whisperings of the slinking (Shaitan),
114:5 Who whispers into the hearts of men,
114:6 From among the jinn and the men.

Are you sure this is the definition of Allah?.....Sorry, I don't understand it....Please explain.

lol Isn't it obvious there are various types of Christians, most sects will be gathered around hell and thrown into it. But most importantly the name Christian is not in the Quran and most of the beleifs you hold onto are the oneS which the Quran rejects hence classifying you as not among people of the book since you regard jesus man as God of Abraham and hold onto trinity. All that good you do in this life will be rewarded in this life but in the next you are turned away and sent to hell unless you come to your senses in this life. You not even true to Messiah and his teachings.

And I thought you were quick to cry out of context verses yet here you try to abuse verses to your advantage.

LET ME MAKE IT ABSOLUTELY CLEAR TO YOU, IF ANYONE WHO CLAIMED TO BE A JEWISH MESSIAH OR WAS SEEN AS SUCH YET DIED ON A ROMAN CROSS OR TREE THEN REGARDLESS OF WHAT EVER PEOPLE COINED UP AFTERWARDS HE WAS NEVER THE MESSIAH. THE ONLY WAY HE IS MESSIAH IF HE DID NOT DIE AND WAS ALIVE THE WHOLE TIME. THE DYING FOR SINS AND THEN RESURRECTING IS THE GREATEST TEMPTATION PEOPLE BOUGHT INTO, RATHER THEN FACE THE OBVIOUS THE MAN DID NOT DIE HENCE WAS SEEN ALIVE AFTERWARDS AND HIS TEACHINGS REMAIN CLEAR YET ARE DEFIED BY THOSE WHO BOUGHT INTO FALSE SALVATION HENCE THEY REMAIN AGAINST ACTUAL MESSIAH AND AMONG THE ONES TO BE TURNED AWAY AND SENT TO HELL. THE LOSE IS ALL YOURS AND YOU CAN CLAIM ALL YOU WANT BUT YOU ARE NOT OF THE FELLOWSHIP AND YOU REMAIN AGAINST CLEAR TEACHINGS.
