The Fire Squad Sound was launched in April 2005. Situated in the heart of Port Antonio, Portland Jamaica. Fire Squad sound system gradually grew to become one of Porltand’s most favoured and number one entertainment icon for the short period since our launch.

This sound system was actually build right here in Jamaica by one of most talented and renowned technician the Island of Jamaica have ever seen Mr. Horace McNeil and his entire members of staff located at Torrington Bridge in Kingston Jamaica.

As a new and upcoming sound system in the entertainment field we have achieved and gained a lot of recognition from veteran sound systems in the business like the World Sound Stone Love, The Mighty Travellers and Cash Money Sound just to name a few. We also try to spread our wings musically as we did sessions with a few popular radio personalities from FAME FM “The Party Animal” Kurt Riley and Arif Cooper and from Irie FM we juggled alongside Digital Chris and Dj Sunshine.

We have also made our debut on the overseas soil where we did a weekend tour in Antigua, there we played alongside sounds like Wardadli Souljahs from Antigua, King Animosity from the US Virgin Islands and Synamax from Jamaica.

With such great achievements in such short time our intentions and interest is to spread the love of one the world’s most loved music “Reggae and Dancehall Music” worldwide so that the rest of the world can hear and see that they are still a lot more great sound systems that rise from Jamaica with talent to show.
